Tabletop Gaming News has started to take nominations for their 2008 Reader's Choice Awards.

Readers can nominate and vote for products in one of six categories:

Best Sci-fi Miniature
Best Fantasy Miniature
Best Historical Miniature
Best Pulp/Horror Miniature
Best Game or Expansion
Best Terrain or Accessory

We will be taking nominations from now until December 12th via a poll on each of the above pages. After that we will take the top ten nominations to a final vote.

Unlike last year, you will need to be a registered user here at TGN and also logged in to vote and also to nominate a product. Last year there was a vast amount of vote stuffing and we are hoping that by limiting this process to registered users that we will be able to cut down on this somewhat.

Great. Just a couple of questions...

1. Is there any restriction on the nominations - scale, country of company, etc?

2. Is this just for releases in the last 12 months/in 2008, or are all ages of minis/games/etc elligable?

1. No restriction so feel free to submit some DRM or Exodus War minis :-)
2. Anything from Dec 1 2007 to Dec 1 2008 can be nominated.
