how does one tell from the website, between the 60mm Round Closed Base and the 60mm Titan Base, which is the flat one and which one deep? |

Actually, the titan bases were on their website if you did a search for "base," and you're right, they were a lot less for 15 to a bag. I think the best news from this is that warmaster bases are once again available (though, of course, they are pricey) and that BotFA round bases are available. I think I'll pick up some of both in a few weeks. |
