This was good for a laugh:

Take a look at the page title "Warhammer 40,000 - Eldar"  ??? They even gave us some multimedia:

So that's one new edition that I'm not overly excited about, but this made me raise an eye brow:

Looks like VOR is coming around again.

I just dont think that fourth edition has been around that long! But, the rumours about the changes for fifth have been heating up various parts of the web for a few months now.

As for Vor, I saw this thread (see the Sci Fi General board). I am SO psyched about this, and really looking forward to it if it happens.

4th edition was released in 2004, 6 years after 3rd.  With only 4 years between 4th and 5th my guess the changes will be even more minimal than the 4th edition changes. They're probably doing it to drum up 2008 sales.

I have all of the VOR books and the main box set that I got for dirt cheap when it was going out. The only thing I remember not liking about it was the lower the roll the better. I did like the unit creation though.

I also have everything released except for the starter box set. I am still upset that they never released the updated stat generation book, or the Golems! I think that second edition will add some races, and I am looking forward to this, I may even break out my Growler and Shard minis.

Far more extensive.

Gw realise that both 4th edition, and the 4th edition starter set, both had some serious flaws.

Really, will 40k become a game worth playing once a year again?
