I'm pretty happy about this, Fantasy Flight Games, who are right here in town, have signed an agreement to produce GW board games, card games, and RPGs. ? So the premature death of Dark Heresy seems to have been proven, well...premature. ?

Unfortunately this doesn't include the likes of Space Hulk and others, but oh well.

I hope that any BI people who recently may have lost their jobs get an opportunity with Fantasy Flight Games.

Fantasy Flight Games and GW announcement.

Now, if only someone would agree to license the Specialist Games from GW too...  especially Epic :;): :D

I personally have no interest in playing Dark Heresy, but that is good news. Maybe Fantasy Flight will be able to get a license for other GW stuff.

Crosspost from the SG News thread:

Rather than just saying up front "we are licensing our non-miniature games to FFG to concentrate on miniatures and IP production" which would effectively be a partnership with a well-known and reputable company, they instead canceled everything with zero explanation, causing all manner of uproar and hard feelings from their fan-base.  They take a good thing and handle it so it becomes a publicity fiasco.
It's a good move, but they screwed the pooch in their handling of it vis a vis the customers.
