Well I didn't think I "Flammed" anyone, but felt we were having a "Lively" dicussion ! ?And I'm well aware of the the fact that G/W will release a Tau Army in the future and I will use it to supplement my F/W Tau as I use my F/W IG, Ork, etc., to supplement my other G/W forces. ?See I collect a lot of Epic and spend far too much $$$ on these toys. ?And I'm well aware of how long it takes to produce Epic models as I have been playing Epic for 14 years. ?And I'm not going anywhere ... so my opinions/complaining, are just that ... I'm not really a G/W Fan Boy ... but as I said, I usually buy 98% of everything they make for Epic and have for 14 years (oh my, have I really wasted that much time with this hobby [?] !). ?That being said, I would like to see character packs for all Epic forces to add to my thousands of Epic models in my ever growing 9 Epic Armies. ?And good point Xavi ... I should stop complaining about complaining !  ?Sometimes I just get stuck in the belligerent Ork Warboss mode. ?So if anyone doesn't like it, let me know, but like a good Ork ... I'll let you know right back ! ?  ?(We need an Ork Emoticon!)

I believe they are intended to be released as metal models in an IG character blister pack, to be added to the stands of plastic infantry, since the sprues don't contain much in the way of characters.
The models would be used for the commisar\commander\supreme commander units in the Steel Legion Army list (or any other IG list).
AFAIK that is also why they removed the characters from the SM plastic sprue.
There is a Space Marine character pack listed on the release schedule for november.
