Marauders - would an extra BM make a huge difference?

I can't read pdf's yet, but when I do...
As for the bomber - yes!
The biggest problem for me with it is one plane dead is a drop of 2/3's of the firepower. 2 barrage templates hitting on AP4+/AT5+ to one template hitting on AP5+/AT6+.
Hell I would consider them at 300 for two with 3bp each. At 2bp they still I don't think are worth 250.

I've done a 1 page EpicUK pdf for myself with the army list and special rules, can anyone spot any mistakes? I'll probably knock off the other lists as well in the same format, if anyone else wants them like that I can post them up. I'll do a reference sheet in the same style as the salamanders one I've done as well.

Though saying that only now I have clicked on the EpicUK 3 page reference sheet and its quite nice :)

As to the lists themselves I think they are a great effort. Obviously I would do things a bit differently and they haven't been constrained by trying to make units that can go in multiple lists, all of which no doubt made things smoother for them.

My favourite list is probably the black templars one as it gives the most new options (lots of land raiders on the ground, better air assaults/teleports with the emperors champ, different air movement stuff, 6 strong formations of Vindicators, etc). And is easy to paint :) Oh and thunderhawk transporter, like it :) Apart from the rather expensive ablative transporter option (which I reckon is unlikely to be used) and the ability to use the giant models to block los :) I think they are probably as good as can be here.

My least favourite is Dark Angels as though I agree with some of it it diverges the most from how I'd see them.

Is there any errata I should know about for the lists?

I think the only 'thing to watch' in the lists power wise are Landing craft operations. They didn't agree with the positiion that they were overpowered (though I remember seeing more and more crop up) so kept the cost the same, whilst lowering the cost of full loads (by 100-150 points).

Black Templar Initiates should lose the Heavy Bolter, Scout and Infiltrators rules (to become like the Initiates from the ERC army list).

There's some other stuff that I've forgotten. :)

Yeah someone from EpicUK said it was a mistake, they just copied the standard Scout datafax by accident instead of using the Neophyte datafax.

I can't rememeber which thread this came up in, but it's here on TacComms somewhere.

The anonymous person who answers the EpicUK emails had a list of typos from me a few days after they put the codex out.

Can you confirm if this is an Errata or just your personal opinion?

Rug,

If there is no 'errata' on the EPIC UK website then the current Space Marine rules still stand. So Neophytes have Heavy Bolters ... for the time being.

Thank you

To be honest the attitude of some people to E and C's constructive feedback has really put me off attending their tournies in the future, if that's the kind of atmosphere there, regardless of the merits of these lists.

I think Rug has summed it up well. We are anxious to avoid an endless cycle of errata+updates so that once people have downloaded the rules then they have the rules. having said that if a major mistake is flagged up or a list is released which proves to be totally overpowered then we would have to address that.

At the moment a list of mistakes (as no balance problems have presented themselves) has been drawn up and will be addressed at the end of the year.
At the moment I think that list is-
BT neophytes with heavy bolters
WS LS Tornado cost
Several Dark Angles
Some layout issues

You don't consider Neophytes with Infiltrators and Scout to be a mistake?

E&C should have re-read this very thread, as Steve54 confirmed it as a mistake early on.
