Heh. ?The first comment on the board my college friends frequent was "I guess he failed his save."

He developed "Share saving throws" too late. He could have taken mine or the ones from nearly every player he gave countless hours of dungeon crawling fun.

I loved the Futurama episode he was in.

Gary Gygax: "I'm..."
(rolls dice and consults table)
Gary Gygax, enthusiastically: "...pleased to meet you!"

Anyone got a resurrection spell?

Darn, you beat me to it!  CLERIC!!!

I haven't played the game in years but started off circa 1978/1979?  Quit during 2nd edition, 1988/1989?

Yes, I remember playing it in College with my ROTC crew.  It really did change the gaming world.  RIP GG

D&D was the catalyst that brought me into the world of gaming.  Many hours of fun enjoyed and many friends found that otherwise wouldn't have happened.

My life wouldn't have been the same without it.

Thank you Gary Gygax.
