Over the last coupel of months a couple of times I have not been able to log into Epicomms. Each time CS has indicated that on his end it seemed fine.

Yesterday afternoon and evening I could not get in. I got the same Error from both my office and my home.

So, to help me understand what is up, Did anyone else have issues getting onto Epicomms yesterday?

If so, what country are you in?

Thanks

dafrca

I had some login issues yesterday, with a different error screen to the usual "I'm cursing the computer right now" one.

I've gotten the same error that TRC has on a few occasions. Including yesterday. I've also gotten another error about it being unable to change some file or another on occasion. I'm out in the US.

dafrca - Good to see that you back with us.

Personally, I have had no problems with these boards recently. The 'I am cursing the computer' screen is the one that I put up when I am working on these boards behind the scenes.

dafrca seems to have got a very simple error message just listing the domain, but one that is not informative at all.

I too would be interested to know if this problem is 'localised' to the US.

Thanks.

I was having errors as well:

CGIWrap Error: Real UID could not be changed!

Followed by a bunch of stuff that lists info about the forums and my client HTTP connection.

I'm in Western Canada.

That is the one I was getting as well.

Here is the screen capture:

I have had this same CGIwrap error a couple of times within the last two weeks. I don't know whether the timing is an issue but  it seems to happen in afternoons (our time, GMT+2 I think).

I'm located in Finland.

Ditto here, but this was just yesterday morning over here in sunny Malta, with a temperature of 32 degrees C...

:D  No problem. I will contact the web hosts to see if they messed around with things, or if they have any ideas.
