..or did these forums go down around 12:45/1:00 today?
At first for me they were simply loading up really, really slowly, and then not at all, with an error message given (sorry I can't remember it right now)..
Anyone else have a problem?

I have had problems with slow loading and slow replying, but it has never gone down. And I wasn't on at 1. Shouldn't you be at school at that time stormseer? Cheers Chris |

Its being rather slow right now I have to say... And yes Chris, I am in school- its just my lunch hour  !! We have a very nice broadband connectionin for our library and computer rooms network..

My school has a really crap connection, and when 100 computers are all using it at dinner it is like slower than a 56k modem!!! Cheers Chris |

The forums were not down at all today (as far as I know). There are occassions when the number of people trying to access the boards is too much and it takes a while or results in errors. It happens to me sometimes and I get an error, then I just refresh and it comes back. If you are using the system at school (or whatever) you may have problems with the network. Especially at lunch times, when the school may only have a couple of lines out of the school and these can get busy. Additionally, the EpiComms server may sometimes have problems with lots of data and connections. If people have serious and persistant problems, please drop me an email (although I am on these boards more than most people). |

No, you are right. I was having trouble accessing the forum also. It happens from time to time. The board get painfully slow. |

Yeah, I do notice little slowdowns occasionally, but I never usually mention them.. It was just that because this occasion made the forum basically impossible to use, I commented..
