OK, due to popular demand, I have allowed pictures inline. This means that you will still need a place to host you pictures, then give the link in the post and it will be added into the post instead of a link, like this:



If you do not want the pictures to appear, because you are on a modem or whatever, you can turn this off in your profile. If you do this then the picture will appear as a link and you can choose which ones to see.

Let me know if there are any comments about this. Also, I have tried to 'break' the system, and it appears that there is no-way that code can be smuggled onto the boards in this way. If anyone else is any good at this and wants to try, feel free. Just dont break anything, and let me know what you are doing!  :l

Thats excellent.

I must admit, pics on threads can look really good.  Especially if part of a short battle report, or showing off minis.

the key to pictures on the web is small in size

my images generally are 300 x 200 pixels or smaller and are less than 20Kb in size

I use Fireworks as my main imaging program, but you can get cheaper ones out there
