Right, I am going to take the credit when these things start working, and be ignorant when they stop. Its the webmasters code. Actually, could you guys let me know the date and time of the FIRST notification email that you got (your local time or server time is fine, just let me know which) and I will try to cross-reference this with the mail server log to see if it performed an automatic reboot that fits the pattern. |

Going through my e-mails here is what I noticed (all my local time shown in Outlook): Last Topic Notification received was May 4th at 7:23 AM The notifications didn't start again until Sept 13th at 5:07 AM, however the e-mail was dated Sept 11th at 4:06 AM. I noticed this delay for the next two notifications as well, until this week it started sending them on-time: 2nd Received: Sept. 15th at 12:03 AM for e-mail dated Sept 11th at 5:19 AM. 3rd Received: Sept. 16th at 11:01 PM for e-mail dated Sept 15th at 8:32 AM. No notifications again until Sept 28th (this may be correct...) 4th Notification received on Monday, Sept 28th at 1:05 PM and several since, the delay in time difference is much shorter (only 30 minutes to an hour at most instead of days). |

Thanks guys. So it looks like people started getting these again on 28th Sept...... EDIT - Obviously, nothing in the logs regarding the mailserver on or just before the 28th September (although that was a Monday and the system is set to do a general sweep on Sunday nights.......). |
