Hello! Is there any way off turning off reports from certain parts of the forum? I'm thinking of the "read new posts" function wich is huge everytime i log on and half of the topics are about NetEpic that I'm not interested at all about.

Not that familiar with what kind of functions exist in this forum. Can i subscribe to certain sections of the forum?

A Mark as Read for various sub forums feature might kill two birds with one stone.

You can 'subscribe' to individual boards. There is a link at the bottom of the page to do this.
Also, when you reply to a topic, the default is to subscribe you to this topic too.
You can also subscribe to individual threads/topics without having to reply to it.

If you want notifications on some areas, I would suggest that you subscribe to the boards the interest you, and check your settings in your user control panel.

All the best.

I feel your pain Mordoten. Imagine my dismay when I log-in every day and see scrolls and scrolls of egregious guff about E:A. It's like an icy dagger to the heart... :P

Thanks M, very kind of you! ;D ;D ;D

That's a rather impressive hole you've dug for yourself, but maybe it's deep enough now? ;)

PS I know what you meant! Context is a great thing to abuse.

A good way of doing it might be to figure out all the people who tend to post about NetEpic, and block them. There can only be about 3, right?

Stop the hate, I'm joking!!

You block me in a dream, you'd better wake up and apologise...

Just as well you're joking. As NetEpic player #4 of 7 I was getting mightily miffed there... :D

I think being trapped in the past is making all the NetEpic players oversensitive. Clearly the best thing is to shut down the NetEpic part of the board and force them to rejoin reality. ;)

Oh jesus, this is turning into something waaay bigger than planned. Kinda like my "diefference between Epic UK and NetEA" topic... Haha, can i be the official forum instigator from now on?

You say that Knave, but looking down the first page of Active Topics I can see 5 - yeah count 'em, 5 - posts in NetEpic forums. Let's count the E:A ones... How many is that? One? That can't be right can it? Yep, the scores have been counted and verified: 5-1.

I rest my case Knave, your E:A boys took one helluva beating! :D

Mordoten's right though, I'll refrain from taking the bait from hereon in... hopefully! ;)

Well allow me to retort - by paraphraing Samuel L.Jackson in Pulp Fiction: "The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of E:A men. But I'm tryin, Mordoten. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd." ;)

Anyway, to help cool things down and extend the olive branch somewhat, I'm running an Epic page on Facebook and I was wondering if any E:A players would be interested in assisting admin the page? It would be good to feature posts relating to both game systems but as I don't indulge in the E:A heresy I'm not able to do so.

Anyone who is interested please PM me!

Re the Facebook admin offer:

Special thanks to my new partner in crime. It was great not to have to intimidate and threaten too much to get him to accept the role!
