We appear to be suffering a few database issues right now. I am not sure what the cause is, and I have backed up the board as a precaution. Even after fixing things at this point, some of the graphics are MIA.... Not sure how a database issue would cause this at this point, but anyway..... So, I will continue to montor the situation, but the various graphics are a lower priority than making the site stable. Please let me know if you notice any issues. Thanks. UPDATE - If you do find an issue, you should get an error message. Something along the lines of... Quote: Table 'tc_config' is marked as crashed and should be repaired [1194] If this happens, please note and report the table - starting with the prefix 'tc' and let me know either here or via email. Thanks. |

UPDATE - It appears that all of my PMs have vanished. Could you let me know if this has also happened to you, or if this is only my own? Thanks. |

My Pm's are still there. Had one of those errors before I saw this thread, didn't note the number but it said "too many connections" as the cause. |

FURTHER UPDATE - I have repaired several database tables, and recovered my own PMs (and I assume any others that were lost). The repair process utilises database resources, and was most likely the source of numerous 'too many connections' errors over the last hour. I will now let the boards settle down and deal with anything further tomorrow. Thanks. |

Every shows new/unread currently which happens with stuff no biggie, but when I try to mark forum as read it won't work and it also looks like the post visit aren't showing as read either. Thanks for watching out! Mentioned this in General Issues, but I too have this problem. Some threads in my unread posts clear when I read them, others do not. Some that were read and cleared have uncleared, and are stubbornly refusing to go away. |

It seems that one or two posts that are marked 'uread' do not recognise when they are "read", no matter how many times you read them ![]() No real biggy as others say, but a very minor irritant |

I will close this at this point, as it appears that the downtime issue is resolved, and monitor the General Issues thread for further reports. Thanks. |
