Whenever I post an image on the boards, it gets resized to a smaller version. I've tried uploading pics as file attachments in the post, and I've tried using the IMG tag in the post. Neither makes any difference.
However, I've noticed some people have managed to post full size images - so I have to ask, what am I doing wrong?

I think they are linking to images using the img tag

Afraid not, I've tried that, and it didn't make any difference. But thanks for the suggestion!

Can you link to an example that wasn't resized so perhaps CS can look at the code and tell how what they did that was different?

As well, there may be a pixel or file size limit that triggers the scaling

The boards take into account a browsers window size when displaying the images as well.

I think the images in this thread are larger than normal, for example the pic in post 44 is way bigger than the re-sized pic I posted in this thread.

So either Otter's being very clever, or I'm being very stupid, or possibly both. Or maybe the world is just not fair... :sigh:

At last!

Reaver I am sorry your in the same mess but I am so relieved that I am not the only one having this problem. Check out Argh, Help! in Epic General Discussion. Ever since the site move I have been having the same problem and like you can't figure out why or make others understand what I mean.  :sigh:

Hi. Ottermans picture is simply uploaded to the boards via the attachments option when making a post, and the pic has been resized - the original is 1152 x 1127!

I will go back to the board authors and investigate this as a priority.

So I guess all images are getting resized, but not to any discernible pattern.

I will go back to the board authors and investigate this as a priority.
