To clarify, you mean that the images that I am seeing are half the size that you posted them, or that the images that you are seeing are half the size of the images that I am seeing?

This could be one of two things. These boards scale images, depending on your monitor resolution, and some images are clickable for the full size version. The fact that the images that I see are larger than the ones that you see, makes me think that this is an issue with either your account here, or the computer that you are using.

What is your monitor resolution?

That is probably it. My resolution is set at 1280 x 1024. Do you have access to a larger res screen/computer to check this?

I think that it probably will help (if not, let me know). The boards have an added scaling feature, which stops a single page running twice the width of your screen which then also allows text to do the same and makes reading difficult, and this is a recent addition.

Hi CS,

I change my screen resolution to 1024 x 768 pixels (maximum) and downloaded image from my computer using 1024 x 768  and still the picture is too small. (From my perspective)

Before update I was downloading at 800x600 and the image filled the screen. Could it be something to do with the account?

Heya CyberShadow, some of the guys don't realize the boards are back at this new URL. The old URL gives this error:

"Not Found
The requested URL /cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Would it be possible to make a forwarding page at the old address, so people know where to go?

1. Sticky threads older then 30 days seem to dissappear. I guess that is not the intention with sticky threads.

2. The forum is slower then the old one. When I open a thread it takes a little time more in my perception to show everything in it.

CS, even better would be a mass emailing to all members.  I haven't ever seen an email from TacCom so I doubt anyone would feel annoyed by it.

FYI the Quick Post still doesn't work for me (and I am using the favored IE).

Warhead - I checked... The boards are set to resize pictures to a maximum file size. So, if the maximum post size is 150Kb, any pictures are automatically resized to meet this minimum.

O-Man - The redirect is something that I have on the list to sort out. In the meantime, I have added a temporary solution. Let me know what you think.

blackhorizon - The pinned thread over 30 days issue is something that I am already contacting the board developers about. I will sort this when I can. These boards should actually be faster than the old ones. I have not found them slower - Anyone else have this problem?

Moscovian - I am against mass-mailing people as a general rule. The Quick Post thing is still under investigation.
