To preface, I'm borderline red-green colorblind.  I am able to distinguish the colors in every day life, but it's like my contrast gradients are wonky.  I pass most tests but those Ishihara color plates with the multi-colored dot pattern tests mess with me pretty hard.

In short, my opinion in this respect is probably unusual, but the orange-red lettering on the green background is a bit uncomfortable.  I can read it just fine but it's difficult to focus on.

More generally...

The darker red "topic description" text underneath the thread titles is very difficult to read on the dark gray.

The text color appears to be the same as the background for the "quotes" boxes, so it's invisible.

Yep. The green will go away... I just need to find out where the damn settings are! I really respect ikonForums as a board system, but each colour scheme has about 12 different files, of html/css code and the numbers are buried.    The red on grey will also go. My aim is to get this place in the same scheme as the old boards. Bear with me...
