Hi

Nice to see the boards back. Not a fan of the green colour. But that is amll price to pay to have the boards up & running. Thanks C/S.

Cheers

James

Minty Green is on the way out! You should have seen this place before I made it darker.    I will work on the speed of the quick reply soon. Which posts appear messed up?

Some long threads, like this one here on page 6:
http://www.tacticalwargames.net/forums....8;st=75
Some posts are displayed in a strange way, some of the posts of Evil and Chaos have no text, at least for me.

Yay, almost everything in the forum is grey now!

Yeah, it seems to be a known issue that some of my posts aren't appearing.

Yes. Strange that it is specific to E&C only, and no-one else is affected...     :;):

I have a couple of things to try to fix this, and I will have a look when the boards are down for the next backup tomorrow.

Glad the site is back, but really not enjoying this look compared to the last. And I'm not on about the mint green.

Two things that jump out at me... hopefully its not just my browser, but what's the big gap at the top for? I think there is an image there, but not seeing anything. Even if I do, does it have to take up that much space?

Also all the tabs and buttons at the top... do they have to be so large?

The reaons for these two points is that before i even see the relevant stuff you normally go to a page for, you're already having to change the page by scrolling down.

Also when you do a reply... the last ten post which is in a sub-scrolling box... it screws things up a bit when you're using the wheelie mouse. Can't explain it, but it's an annoyance I have with the a Tau message board too.  They allow signitures to be massive and are then displayed in a scolling box, so when you're scrolling down the message board, it shifts into scrolling the signiture box which is not what you want and have to click on the scroll bar instead. Probably more of a browser issue though.

hmm... clicked shift and refresh and the box at the top disappeared. Either I had a cache problem or it was changed when I posted. I'll

I am not entirely sure what you mean by this. The system is working the same way in the way that I use it. You can just use the 'Quote' button on the reply screen, instead of directly quoting... if you see what I mean...  :sulk:

True but then the extra information like this one:
Quote: (CyberShadow @ 07 Jul. 2008, 23:04 )
has to be entered by hand.
I would prefer the old system where I could manipulate the quote delivered to me by the software.
