Anybody have any favorite homegrown scenarios?  If you do, post them here for all to see!

I have a couple in development that I am hoping to send to Fanatic mag when it's out, just need a bit of playtesting to  test out some different points and stuff to tidy them up, but I will probably ask if anyone would like to playtest them for me on this board (some other boards aren't as mature in their approach as this) soon. Got a 3000pt Ork vs SM ready to play on it tomorrow, so that should help me iron it some. Give me a few days and I shall post a link to my webpage where I'll type it up.

We use the AT1/SM1 Scenario systems, they are just great !  Plus we have used a few we saw in W/D during the SM2 era.   :D

Hi!

SM1 era scenarios are very good. I still use them from time to time.

I don't know why G/W went away from that system ?  It as very well done ... So with that I don't need to make any of my own.

Hi!

When SM2 came out I found that very odd that the scenarios were left out. Very good system.

Orks Drift

1000 points of Imperial Guard, 75% infantry (including Heavy Weapons), rest can be tanks or artillery.

Infinite numbers of Ork Infantry in waves of 500 points a turn. Orks are only allowed infantry and no heavy weapons.

How many turns can the IG last?

Hi!

L4, you remember what book and pages the SM1 scenario rules are?

AT rules, pages 40,41,42 and SM1 rules pages 46, 47, Bonus Scenario pg.52 (!).  Over-the-Top Rule is on pg. 47 too !   All these SM1 Scenarios are during the Heresy but they give point levels for forces on pg. 47 so the scenarios can be used for any armies, the same goes for the AT rules.  For example, if the SM1 scenario says 1460 pts - Imperial/ 1700 pts - Rebel, you could just substitue that to read Eldar/ Squat, etc.  The AT scenarios are randomly selected by attacker and defender so you never know what the other player's mission is and Force Levels vary per mission, per side.  You just decide the Basic Force Level Points, 1000, 2000 etc., and the mission tells you what you actually get.    You should be able to "fine tune" these or play as is, to suit your tastes.  For example in the original SM1 Rules Book, Whirlwinds could carry 2 stands (!), that was later amended to no stands, in Codex Titanicus.  And also later, the AT victory conditions were amended to say "Titan or Detachment", for obvious reasons.  Also the excellent Off-Table Support rules are in SM1 pages 53-55.  These are 3 great rules that we have used since '90 ... :;):
