Has Pixelgeek shut down his recently formed mailing list? Just wondering cos I am getting a sudden influx of new members. We are up to 268 members now.... kinda odd. |

First, the links. =========== Armocast provides a list of sources on their site from when they had the GW license: http://www.armorcast.com/warhammer40k/PaintingTips.html Pics from Armorcast’s studio are here: http://www.armorcast.com/warhammer40k/painting/ Their text list from their Inquisitor pub with the info presumably consolidated from the sources in the first link: http://www.armorcast.com/inquisitor/archive/number14/ ======= Scott Shupe's Eye of Terror page (now static) also has a link for heresy era titan banners that could help with logos and color schemes. ?I believe these are from the old Battle Titans boxed set. http://home.earthlink.net/~sshupe/EPIC/banners.html ============ From Citadel Journals: http://www2.vigyan.com/ilibrar....Legions Burning Stars/Suns of Damnation (pre/post heresy names, Tzeentch, no color scheme stated, Princeps Skylok) Silver Scythes/Festering Death (pre/post heresy, Nurgle, no colors, Princeps Bubonis) =========== There is a knight house that fell to Slaanesh during the seige of Terra and which started the Slaanesh knight daemon engines, but there seems to be no additional detail. ?Sorry, no link. =========== Also, feel free to post any links you guys think are relevant. I'll post my list that consolidates all the sources I could find once I get it formatted for text. I think we could also probably work on a list of home-grown titan legions once I get the official GW stuff up. ?I know I would be interested in what's out there. CS: ?Would you be so kind as to pin this? It also occurs to me that this might be better placed in the Background section. I'll leave it to your capable moderator hands to decide whether to move it or not. |

I believe he's referring to the yahoo group, not this board Primarch. That being correct, I noticed it too. In fact, I approved another 4 just now. THe numbers of new members has shot through th eroof, and yet we've had very little traffic. |

Nope. He didn't. He just posted an odd message that YG now don't allow public access to the files area. I don't see a problem at all. Somebody wants to get the files = he/she has to join. Simple equation. If people are reclutant to giving away their personal data, they can create an e-mail account using false name and adress and then in the very same way use this account to register on YG. |

About 15 people in two days... I mean it is a good thing, but I am curious as too why. It is like the infamous tale of Incoming! Issue #9 it is so popular it overshadows ever other issue consistantly and it is like 6 months old now. Only new issues ever beat it's ranking and then the next month it is number one again :S. |

I've been referring people here from the playtest group. There was a recent thread about paint stripping, and I referenced the pinned thread in the painting section. There was another issue where it came up, too, but I've blanked. I think it was about limited run miniatures. If the traffic hasn't increased, I expect it's probably people coming to check out specific stuff that was mentioned and possibly lurk. Hope that's not a problem |
