Genestealers rock! My all time fav GW model is the 40K Genestealer Patriarch, too bad it cant be used in 40k anymore... Stealers were a lot cooler than the tyranids!

I have the throne and the standing purestrain models. Those were the days when genestealers were more powerful and were to be feared.

As for the list I will check it out since I use my tyranid army a lot.  I would like to hear what others have to say about it too
:D

I made a Genestealer Cult Army list based on the old G/W fluff, to be used with our hybrid rules, also.  Merging the SM1 Chaos Cultist templates with the old G/W story line.  Kind of like this one.  I like the insidious nature of that old fluff, but I actually, have never gamed with it yet, and it appears, I will have to update it a bit.

I would love to see this. Do you have a copy that you could email me?

Cool. Thanks for that L4. It looks like an interesting force. I think that the main thing that you have allowed that I have not are the Chaos battle gifts. I did think about them, but in the end I decided on simply adding a Chaos Cultist detachment. (One of the first two GW things that I bought was a GS/Khorne Cult - which is where I got the Imperial Guard models, Tuff!)

As for mutants, I am sure that they will be very interesting. Personally, I plan to take my time with these guys and have some fun. But, remember that mutations can include a third eye, spitting acid, webbed fingers, brightly coloured skin, and an ability to strangely pick the fastest queue in the supermarket!  :D  I guess that what I am saying is that mutants dont HAVE to be heavily converted.

I'm glad you showed some interest, it's a flexible system and should be fun to play on the table. I saw in the E-A Chaos lists, they show Limos and some type of Transport for Cultists, so hopefully they will make some "neat" models. ?I look forward to it. ?Mutations on 6mm scale might just be easily reflected in the rules, but if you have the urge, go for it. ? ? Thanks again ... :D

It finally happened! It has taken a while due to a severe shortage of time, but the next version of the Genestealer Cult Force has arrived, and been updated in the Additional Rules section of www.epic40k.co.uk.

Check it out and let me know what you think. Seriously, any type of feedback is welcomed - first impressions, actual playtesting, thoughts on the background, new units, units which dont fit, stats and points... anything.

Basic changes involve a lot of the feedback that I have received both here and via the EpicA Vault. Primarily, I have changed the stats and points values of Purestrains to match the ones in the Tyranid list (I had overcharged quite considerably). I have not made all of the changes that were suggested, as I have left things as they are where I have had further thoughts, or simply not decided what is best.

Thanks guys, and I look forward to hearing from you.

For all of us (including me) who doubted the participation of EA in the EoT Campaign, let there now be no doubt!

Lets hope this continues throughout the EoT Campaign and isnt just a one off thing...

I was goig to try and get one of the other imperial players to play me this Saturday. That way no matter who wins it would be an Imperial Victory (or is that unfair   )

Serious though, I would like to try this one. Sounds like it could be fun.

It's just too bad that we don't have an actual chaos army list that is usable at the moment in light of the fact that they are the main protagonists in this conflict! :( ?

I guess I'll just have to fight the good fight from the p.o.v. of the "good guys." ?

In any case the extermination of Xenos scum is always gratifying! :D

Well, of course.  If the Imperium's forces are fighting each other, wouldn't that count as a victory for the forces of disorder?

I think so.

Yep, it counts as a loss for whoever, Chaos or Imperial if they fight each other, I guess its to stop people battling against each other with forces on the same side, and just racking up victory after victory for their forces! :-:
