Well, the Vanguard Warrior II with Light Cannon is a Chimedon for all intents, but it's built on the Warrior II/Chimera chassis, so doesn't meet the OPs "not a chimera chassis" stipulation.

Hey. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I am making a Skitarii force and am looking for Chimedons. I know a chimedons is just a Chimera with a larger gun, but I want something that looks more... Admech-ish than just a chimera... a chimera with more armor, or whatever. Anyone know where to find anything good? I have a3d printer, so I am up for both stl files and physical minis. Any help is appreciated! |

It's a shame Vanguard don't yet sell a proxy for the Skorpius Dunerider (the hover transport the Skitarii use in modern 40k) as this could make a good model to use for one. Vanguard have released a great looking Admech Gorgon proxy and a couple of mainly 30k era Admech tanks but that are a bit big and tough to be a Chimera proxy. I asked Vanguard before and they said they might make a small 10 man size transport eventually. If more of us ask them for it he might be more likely to do so and sooner? |

One of the most clever kitbashes I've seen was to take a chimera chassis and then a leman russ conqueror turret. I believe Khan did one here using some forumware tanks but should work fine with any official and printed stuff just as easily. |

Thanks for the help. I'm a bit unsure of what to choose. I actually both like the HLS Exodus models, especially due to their low profile, which fits well with my heavy tanks, but I also really like the Vanguard Warriors II... They look enough Admech-ish to different heavily from my normal chimeras for my IG army. Vanguard also got a flak version which is something I'm going to need. I will be waiting a bit though. Brexit makes it expensive to "just" buy a few models, so I will wait til I got a bulk to order

You've actually inspired me to do a little kitbashing in tinkercad. Just need to put some finishing touches on them and they'll be ready to rock |
