If I'm reading it correctly, a MW hits everything on the value provided, including aircraft. I've been finding trying to determine what hits air craft a little difficult. I've seen the rules that say only ground units with AA attacks can hit aircraft, but I've not seen anything that says 'only AA attacks can hit AIRCRAFT'. So another aircraft with an AT weapon can hit an aircraft? And ground MW can hit air craft? |

4.2.4 deals with what can hit aircraft making an approach/disengage move. It makes no mention of MW, just AA attacks. While 2.2.6 says you can hit any type of target, only infantry and vehicles have been mentioned up until this point. Further, the second paragraph only mentions AP and AT fire, not AA. One thing to note though, is an AA attack can have the macro-weapon special ability but not its MW firepower (like the Necron Python). |
