I can't find an answer to this in the tournament pack, although admittedly that may be the wrong place to look. Are allied forces (i.e. taken from more than one army list) permitted in Epic? So for example, a Space Marine force with an allied Knight house, or an Eldar/Dark Eldar/Harlequin strike force? If not in tournament play, then for a friendly game is it just a case of agreeing it with your opponent beforehand? |

Largely this is due to to the fact that a somewhat balanced list is defined as much by what it could do as what it can't do. By opening it up to unlimited allied lists you basically can build counter balances for one from the other to mask the inbuilt weaknesses. Basically you get the mess of unbound armies from our larger scaled brethren. Now for beer and pretzels, it's great! ![]() |
