NetEA Tournament Pack, P. 31 (emphasis mine): Quote: The unit the character is added to receives any weapons and abilities that the character has noted on their datasheet. For example, Space Marine Chaplains are characters that are armed with a Power Weapon (assault weapon, macro-weapon, extra attack (+1)), and have the invulnerable save and inspiring abilities. Any unit they are added to will count as having all of these things in addition to their normal weapons and abilities. Note that characters can be added to any type of unit, including vehicles and war engines. So, if I'm reading this correctly, the character adds to the unit and does not replace in the unit. So, if I have a Blitz Brigade of four Gunwagons and I add an Oddboy, in the shooting phase, I can fire all four Gunwagons and the Oddboy Soopagun? Have I been losing out on an extra shot all this time? EDIT: Ok, I just noticed this in the datasheet: Quote: Replace one Big Gun weapon with either a Supa-Zzap-Gun or a Soopagun. So, just curious, why is it replace in this case? |

That's how it always worked, the Mek or Slaver upgrades the gun to something bigger and better. |

I don't like that answer Dave. Change it. I demand a full rules rewrite from the ground up! |

I'll start work right away. The new edition will incorporate Inquisitor rule mechanics and nods to Bommerz over da Sulphur River. |

Sounds good - he can do all that while he's re-writing the tyranid list. |

Make sure to include the paperwork from Necromunda. If you dont follow up a three hour game with at least 1.5 hours of stat journaling, you're not living! I'm sure Matt'll be happy to help with that. |

That's what DwarfSupreme brings to the table. That and a Reaver that's been blown up more times than a sex doll in a frat house. |

Don't forget we went to the moon with the slide rule. Tim's reaver "Ole' Sparky" has been around since before the abacus, however. |

I need to be able to keep track of when my units take damage, and I feel this is the only accurate way to do so. |
