Hi guys Long time Netepic/Adeptus titanicus player, but only just started playing Epic Armageddon. Anyway, just a quick question. I have the E:A rulebook and am sure that when I read I saw something about what happens to transported troops when their ride is destroyed, but in the heat of battle I couldn't find it. Can you point me in the right direction? Cheers StokeRogue |

Quote: 1.7.5 Transport Vehicles
.... If the transport unit is destroyed, then any transported units may make their normal armour save OR make a 6+ cover save. See 2.2.6 if a transport is destroyed by a macro-weapon |

Hi Jimmy Now I am more confused. Has there been 2 issues of the rulebook? as my copy definitely doesn't say that under section 1.7.5. (not that I doubt your answer of course!) Cheers StokeRogue |

Hi, Jimmy's quote is from the last paragraph of three in the rule book. It should not have changed. |

Hmm, looks like my rulebook has a line missing then. I can see the final part of the quote about seeing 2.2.6 for MW weapons hits, but the whole first part is missing. Very strange. This is the GW printed version of the rulebook I am talking about if that makes a difference. Cheers StokeRogue |

The original rule book was officially updated (online rule book only, no hard copy was released) in 2008 I believe. A copy of the full errata can be found here http://epic-uk.co.uk/rules/Epic_Errata.pdf it includes the rules errata/clarifications and quite a few mistakes that were changed. |

I'd suggest you leverage the NetEA tournament pack. It has the rules and the errata and the FAQ all integrated into a single document. |

There's three versions of the PDFs of the "GW official" rulebook: The originals, same as the print version. An updated version (circa 2004 - skimmer and MW updates were the big changes) A 2008 updated version (the ones that were on GW's site before they took them down last year, these were made without the original files, and there was some copy paste errors introduced with this version) When I made the 2013 TP I took the 2004 version and applied all the Errata and udpates, plus the most updated FAQ. The 2014 pack will be the same, rule-wise, but the army lists will be updated to the latest approved versions and the FAQ will be expanded and cleaned up. |

Just a suggestion, when the 2014 pack is made available, just have the rules, and keep the army lists separate in the tournament pack, to save the repetition? Are there any plans to make the rules a full colour PDF like the netepic book? I would most certainly have it professionally printed and bound, as I much prefer a physical rule book. Maybe in the same way as the raiders and siege supplements? Steve |

The GW online rule book is still available from here for now. http://epic-uk.co.uk/wp/rules/ It is in Black and White but it does includes the pictures from the original book. |

Steve The army lists are in the back, if you just want to the rules you can print up to section 4 or 5, depending if you want the datasheets or not. All the army lists will be available as separate files as well (those are currently linked to on the NetEA forum. No plans for color. I usually get it comb bound though. |
