Post subject:  Minigeddon Tournament Eldar Biel-Tan suggestions please!

Dear all,
there is a Minigeddon tournament being held in Melbourne this weekend and I'd like some advice on list building.
Unsurprisingly, a few of my would-be opponents are also on these forums (looking at you, Dobbsy and Fattdexx O0 ) so I'm a little unkeen to post what I've come with so far.
At 3k I'd be quite confident but anyone who's played Minigeddon knows it's not actually E:A simply toned down. It's a completely different game!
The rules for Minigeddon may be known to most, but in summary they are:

- 1000 points
- 80cm x 120cm (not 180cm x 120cm)
- Play lengthsways, deploy 15cm on short edge and no corner deployment
- 4-6 pieces of terrain
- 1 Blitz as normal but only 1 T&H
- Defend the flag only 2 objectives on own sude
- Take and Hold – objective on opponent's side that's not the blitz
- All other objectives are the same
- Only 1 garrison on Overwatch
- -1 Rally for enemy within 20cm
- 400pt max per formation
- no aircraft, space units or Avatar (sigh.....)
- guard armies 2 commissars tops
- 350pt max allies

Now I don't know if there'll be time for anyone to post me suggestions between now and tomorrow evening (I only just managed to confirm my attendance) and know I have every model I could possibly need to build a 1k list
This is my collection, just so you're aware I'm serious

So what would you suggest using in a 1k Minigeddon Tourney?
Anyone willing to throw some ideas my way (please note we allow proxying by the way at the tourney so I don't have something, I can use something else and call it that)
What would you take, and why?

Here's hoping some better E:A / Eldar players that I can throw some advice my way, I'm expecting to face quite heavy armor, I'm almost sure everyone will take a small titan (given the calibre of the gamers) and I'm quite stuck for ideas

Grazie!!

I've played biel-tan loads in minigeddon. Your best bet is to make it assault-focussed. Swooping hawks, dire avengers and fire dragons on wave serpents, bikes w/ 1 vyper to put bm somewhere. Set up multiple assaults, and if you play Eldar right you will always be up 4 every assault (no bms, opponent w/ bms, 2 inspirings). Dictate where and how each assault happens. In minigeddon shooting options w/ eldar are not worth it.

You're right, Kyrt. I should have written that mixing shooting and assaulty in minigeddon eldar is not amazing. But apparently going full-shooty will work - https://sites.google.com/site/epicarmag ... ldar-lists
Check out Jason's list that got 2nd place in Australia last year.
