Hi All

If a formation with a commander successfully includes another formation into a combined assault, has the second formation then used it's activation for that round?

Thanks

Yes. Each formation only get's to take an action once per turn. Supporting an assault isn't an activation so can be done as many times as you are in position to do so.

Cheers Mephiston

So probably a redundant question, but a commander cannot then include another formation that has already been activated in the assault.

as an aside, it's a shame I did not get to put a face to your name at FSA.

Lol, And there I was with a shirt with Mephiston on the back :)

You can only include unactivated formations when making a combined assault.

lol

I was thinking it might be a good idea to have name tags with both the name and forum name @ these things.

Note, when attempting to activate, declare all the intended formations and include a -1 if any of the formations have BMs. However, it they fail to activate, only the Commander formation gets the BM for failing, and only it has to take a hold action; all the others are unaffected.
