For those looking to build a Sisters/ Ministorum/ Sororitus army, I have been building one and I am nearly finished collecting it. So as part of the process, I scoured the internet and used all my resources to find suitable miniatures for the army.

Here is a list of Manufacturers and their appropriate miniatures that I used for my Sisters/Ministorum army.

Most of the infantry miniatures were provided by Onslaught minis who has suitable miniatures in the 6mm Sisterhood and Hellborne ranges.

I used the Sisterhood Command, Hecate, Themis and Vitris packs for the general sisters troops infantry. They also have decent vehicle proxies for the Exorcist, Immolator, Rhino, and Repressor tanks with their Vesta, Juno, Hestia , Hera and Atropos tanks. From Onslaughts Hellborn range I used the Gore Maidens for the Repentia.

I also used for my Ministorum allies namely Adeptus Arbites, the Denizens and Mercenaries PPF Enforcers, Pacifiers and Suppressors. I also used the Onslaught Sisters Minerva, the Hellborn cultists and cult Zealots for the redemptionists human rabble.

In the Vanguard minis range specifically the Defeat in Detail 6mm Novan Regulars range I used the Lancastrian Bomber for the Marauder bomber, the Stukhog tank hunter for the Avenger Strike Fighter bomber, the Falcon vtols for Vulture Gunships, and the Kestrel transport vtols for Valkyrie transports. I also have Imperial Planetary Guard allies and for these, this range has excellent proxies for the Leman Russ battle tank in the form of the Centurion tank. They also have good infantry and artillery vehicles in this range.

Soon-ish, hopefully before June 2018, they will be releasing minis suitable for a commissar, and as a good proxy for Cadian infantry, which will be excellent for both IG and Ministorum PDF allies.

Most important of all will be their proxy for the Penitent Engine. Currently I am using the Defeat in Detail Skinnerz Tramplers, but find them a little too large for a Penitent Engine. I think they would be better suited as a Stomper, or a large Ork Dreadnought.

Lastly for those looking for something that specifically looks like sisters vehicles, I purchased a range of high quality 3D printed conversion kits from various Shapeways (USA) store. I found that these conversion kits are quite good.

Here is a list of the current range and the relevant Shapeway stores to get them from.

From Nanofactory I purchased the Bulldozer blades, the SOBdoors array sprues (also has inquisition symbols on them), the 6mm Organ Gun sprue, and the 6mm Immolator Sprued. These tend to be designed for a slightly larger rhino, The old Forgeworld rhino is ideal, although I am sure you can use them on the Vanguard range 6mm Novan Elites Trojan APC, although I have not tried this.

From the National Cheese Factory I purchased the SoB upgrade parts for Maeglin. This conversion kit is suited for the smaller ol GW plastic Rhino, and comes with 10 Repressor (tops plus dozerblades) , 5 Immolator tops and 5 Exorcist tops. I also purchased the 6mm Nuns with Guns upgrade parts. These are suited to a slightly larger Rhino, and are of high quality. You get 5 each of the Exorcist, the Immolator and the Repressor conversion parts.

For those wanting to get a Spaceship for the Army, Vanguard have offer via the Battlegroup Helios/ Helion fleet the Helion Dreadnought mini, which I am looking to purchase one later on when the penitent Engine proxies are released.

I hope this has been informative for those looking to start a Sisters army.

Edit:

P.S.

When I collect an army, I collect an army. I should, when finished, have just over 13,000 points for this army.

p.s. 12 July 2019 - Addition to post.

Vanguard have now added more to their Novan range with 6 new lines for the Novan Convent forces.

I just came across Plasmablast Games figures, and I can't see them being mentioned elsewhere.

https://plasmablastgames.com

There are some interesting flyers in there, and options for more "modern" looking IG.

Some of these look really look like they would work in a 6mm dropzone commander game. The Marhaf Legion and the Progenators especially.

Just getting back into Epic Scale gaming, and was looking for good lesser demon proxies?

Especially for Horrors, but really everything Khorne, Slaanesh and Tzeentch - thanks!

Microworld have a bunch of suitable stuff in their 6mm fantasy range, especially if you're in the US.
https://www.microworldgames.com/collect ... asy/demons

Onslaught's Hellborn range has some Bloodletter and Flesh Hound proxies in their 6mm range, or in 10mm if you prefer the older style of having fewer bigger Daemon models.
Onslaught/US: https://www.onslaughtmini.com/16-hellborn & https://www.onslaughtmini.com/32-hellborn
Vanguard/UK: https://www.microworldgames.com/collect ... asy/demons & https://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/produc ... iniatures/

Pendraken's 10mm fantasy range has a few useful proxies as well, for example fire elementals for Flamers.
https://pendraken.co.uk/fantasy-warband/monsters/

In other 10mm fantasy ranges are:
Magister Militum 'Balrog/Bloodthirster': https://www.magistermilitum.com/fdd601- ... rd-x1.html
Magister Militum Direwolves/Flesh Hounds: https://www.magistermilitum.com/fog603- ... olves.html

Spellcrow do some gorgeous 10mm resin models.
Bloodletter proxies: https://www.spellcrow.com/reptilians-wa ... p-763.html (other size packs available)
Plaguebearer or even GUC proxies: https://www.spellcrow.com/ropuchons-warriors-p-761.html

More Bloodletters if painted red, also good lor Big Mutants for LatD: http://www.ralparthaeurope.co.uk/shop/d ... -2197.html & http://www.ralparthaeurope.co.uk/shop/d ... -2537.html

Very helpful - thanks!

Of course, I’m still looking for Horrors.

Thinking of using the old Troll models as a basis for converting some...

Hi All,

I'm very interested in starting a Necron army, but it seems that finding models will be an issue.
I know Trollz have infantry and a few vehicles, but what about Monoliths and Obelisks, and their War engines? I'm not a DIY kind of guy, so where to find these, or proxies that come close? If anybody have some ideas or suggestions, please let me know.

Sincerely,
Martin

There are plenty of stls if you have access to a 3D printer, or you could go the Shapeways route:

If you have a 3D printer, I can send you the stls for gauss pylons, aeonic orb, doom scythe, Obelisk, Monolith. I will have to check shapeways and the links I saved to my bookmarks, but there are more like the Warbarque, Abbatoir, sentry pylons, Nightbringer, and the BFG Necron space ships. Some of the files need rescaling from 40K to Epic, but 20% is usually the best.

I will also try to find the link to this 3D printed terrain piece I had to rescale down to Epic scale. Image

This is one of what at hat time was my painted Necron army. More are painted.

Hi guys,

Long time no post! It has... been a while. ;D

I'm looking to build a small 1500 point Eldar force. I see Vanguard can provide the basics like Infantry, Falcons and Wave Serpents, but I'm struggling to find proxies for other things like the super heavies, night spinners and fire prisms.

Any suggestions?

eBay is PRICEY!! :o
