The max any formation can ever have is half it's total numbers -1, as that's the max it can take before being broken (x2 if your marines). But the chance of having lots of formations exactly one blast marker from breaking is rare. I think I have around 24 or so and I've never run out unless I'm supplying markers for both sides at 3,000 points. |

It's a good idea to make a couple of big x5 blast markers markers and will save you on BMs no end. You'll probably want around 10-15 small ones and a couple of x5s I would think. |

I pretty much agree with Stomp, 15-20 small ones, and 5-10 large ones to mark 5's. |
