Almost certainly a stupid question i know, but played a game over the weekend where it came up and we couldn't find a definitive answer: Troops in rhinos are close assaulted and unable to dis-embark. When the Rhinos are destroyed, do any troops inside that also fail their armour save and die count as a "kill inflicted" for the purposes of combat resolution? Technically, they weren't killed in close combat, but they simply died as a result of it, if oyu see what i mean. Ended up making a big difference to a combat. Steve S |

Yep. Any kills count, including transport kills, critical hit damage (whether against the WE or if an explosion effect kills an enemy), and so on. |

The formation was in an Assault ('close combat') and the passengers removed as casualties- where's the confusion. To try to argue otherwise must have taken impressive nerd-rage. |
