So I am confined to barracks after work hours - but I could with my vast empty wind blown house accomodate a big game of Epic that would take a while to play? Obviously only at weekends and evenings but over any period from now up to Christmas.

I can check tonight but with some creative furniture positioning I might be able to fit at least 3 6x4 boards long edge to long edge in the dining room. With increased depth and dynamic reserves could have a lot of troops involved...

If its multiplayer the rules discussed a while back with each sides players having a C&C area which determins which formations they can activate that turn (i.e. anything not activated so far that turn that starts its move in that players designated area - say a 4x6 strip of the table - they can activate) and each sides players all giving orders at the same time (so if 2 players on one side both give an order to troops and then none, one or both could choose to retain after completing that action).

I'd give it a go but it's postcode-dependent if it's going to be in the evenings. :)

It would be HA9 in between stonebridge park tube station (closest) on Bakerloo line/overground from Euston and Neasden on Jubilee line.

Looks like a 25 minute drive for me, I'd be up for it.

It's an 8 minute bus ride from Royal Oak station which is very close to my place so it works brilliantly for me too.

Couldn't fit any boards in my car, but could certainly fit some trestles & scenery boxes.

Well some 'research' with a tap measure sadly reveals the space in the front room is 11x11 and a bit. Sadly not enough for three boards. Unless peoples have 2 foot wide board sections? Otherwise 6x8 would be the limit it seems. The bedrooms larger but in an epic planning mistake I put the bed in there.

Actually I do have four 4x2's. Unpainted, though.

Mine are car transportable and fold out to form a table that is either 10' x 4', or 8' x 5'.
But they do need at least 6x tressles . . . .

So the components are -
stolen boards from club (they would never know until it was too late!) - x 6x4 tables
Bens tables - 4 4x2's
Gavins tables - 2 5x4 (or 3x4 if folded)

And 11x11 of potential space remembering humans need to breath and whatnot. Also widths of over 6 feet are in practice not easy to use!

Go construct a table! :)

Options top of my head
6x4 tables
4 4x2's
2 5x4/3x4

8x6 - (2 x 6x4) - a bit small for this sort of thing!
8x8 - too wide
10x4 with an additional 8x2 strip at the top - needs a lot of support (tresles).
'6'x10 - 8x6 with a 8x2 strip placed along the wall for a length of 10 feet and a widht that is 8 feet but only for 2 feet then it is 6 feet.

I will also see if the bedroom can at all be used - there is a spare bedroom for me to camp in for a month instead!
