Wow, it has *FINALLY* happened!

Jervis told us he was finally gonna beat some heads this week and it looks like he hit the right ones.

If you head to the GW Website and go to the Specialist Games Resources page, you'll find the shiny errata-ed and updated documents (In four parts, plus reference sheets!), put together by our own Hena, with a little help from nealhunt and myself!

Of course, this being GW, they did screw up a bit and neglected to include the Chaos lists we sent them... *sigh*

So, download, enjoy, and find the typos we missed!

P.S. I'm not putting in a direct link as access to the GW website is based on your country code.

Cool..

Ah..

Does the 'Epic Errata pdf. 0.08MB'
have errata for the -original rulebook- or for the new pdf?
The moving train is sometimes hard to catch ...

That's the original errata document which has now been incorporated directly into the rulebooks.

what was changed in the rulebook?

Below the four main files and reference sheet links there *should* be an Errata 2008 link that is just a list of all the actual updated text.

We spotted an error in the book playing last night: on rulebook page 109 (second pdf, page 52) the name and statline for Ork Boys has been copied and pasted into Ork Grots- we didn't actually know what grot stats were, so we played them as Armour - CC 6+ FF 6+ is that correct?

Yes, that's correct.

Hi guys

Just got back into epic on saturday (haven't played since epic 40k) and I was wondering if the hardcopy of the rulebook GW sell is kept up to date with these pdf rules changes?

cheers.

It has not been revised to date and if GW follow past practice, the answer is "No".

Also given the length of time taken to agree the changes to the text (provided by forum members I might add) and the apparent support for the game as a whole, I would think it highly unlikely that GW would change their stance on putting time and resource into republishing the rule book - - - - even though there would be a massive** uptake from the die-hard players around the globe.

** Note our definition of "Massive" does not match GW's definition.
