Chaps, were I to perform a double with a Mech. Inf. company including Griffins, would they still be able to fire there mortars?

They're just overpriced for the abilities they bring, especially as Mech Inf. formations tend to be either Doubling or Engaging, rather than shooting. At 75pts I'd consider them, 50pts and I'd snap them up, but at 100pts Sentinels are a much better investment.

I have them as a secondary choice for my Leman Russ companies and they can often find themselves sustaining. Also since 30cm is heavy bolter range having a few bp's about stops people bunching up for assaults.
