Just have to cheet a bit here as well. On wednesday I visited Turku in Finland for some school-related bureacracy. On the trip I visited FLGS there are to see if there are any interesting books plus check the price of wings of war(I'm told it could be good fun game to play with my 7yo little brother). So as I was starting to leave I notice 3 boxes in table. 3 boxes FULL of epic blisters and several boxes. All mint. Boxes had even plastic wrappings around them.

From blisters I got 2 attack bike blisters(one of the few units in space marines I'm missing) but real sweetness were the 2 old and 2 new tyranid swarm box + hierophant bio-titan I found. Groovy! Price wasn't too shabby either. On ebay I noticed 2 sprues of tyranid infantry going for 60% of what I paid for these(total of 14 sprues, bio-titan and attack bikes).

I have made some listing and I can build 2150 list with some 'stealers and all the lictors unused. Not half bad! Too bad Hena doesn't allow Tyranids on Ropecon tournament this year  :sigh: . Would be fun to try new army fast + would help with finding inspiration to paint them fast.

I think I'll settle for yellow ochre+brown ink with bleached bone and red for details for colour scheme. Was kinda hard to decide the colour scheme as I want them to be distinct for other armies I have. Only worry is IG which might be tad too similar.

But lucky me. Even if I now need to figure out how to get REST of the stuff. I think I'll try my hand sculpting some of the stuff(dactylis, haruspex etc for example). I have already found person who will do silicon moulds for them so if I can get decent enough master models I can do bloody lot of resin models for myself(no way I'll risk with metal casting. I'm so clumsy I would just get myself badly burned!).

Wow, you lucky fellow. I continualy kick myself for not finding the cash from somewhere to empty the shelves of this shop above a sports shop in stockport over a decade ago.

I sure seems to have luck when it comes to finding epic models :D Last year's ropecon I got my hands on unpainted capitolis imperialis(with plastic tracks for surety of not being fake) and now this.

What next? I stumble upon all three Ordinatus?-) Sure could do with those!

Doh! Now I got hit by bad luck. Bought few additions to army from ebay. One was harridan still in blister. Came in fast. So far so good.

The wings are same pair! AAAAARGH! Going to look bit of odd with underside wing for other side :-(

Urgh. If it hadn't been still in epic40k era blister I would be annoyed at the seller but I suppose he hadn't noticed problem either. Urgh.
