| Post subject: | Licensing the manufacture of Epic-scale miniatures |
This is probably a very stupid question...but do we know if any businesses have ever approached GW/SG about manufacturing the Epic-scale miniatures? I'm just wondering if a smaller-scale operation could produce the miniatures more cheaply, and therefore make Epic a tad more palatable to the wider audience...? Apologies if this has all been discussed a million times before.

GW will not release their IP for minatures. At all. GW do deals with outside companies to licence out IP, but only for non-miniature related products. Consider the new version of Talisman which has been licenced out, on the condition that counters rather than miniatures are used. It's just not going to happen. |
