I know that after the "2008 Errata" and "2008 FAQ" it was planned to incorporate all the changes into a new complete downloadeable rulebook and supplements. Was that ever done? If not: Did somebody do it for themselves?
It's being worked on... it's not even a minor priority for GW, so the NetERC is working on it.  Since GW won't give us access to the raw layout files it involves painstaking correction of .pdf files, which takes a while.
So, the ball is rolling on it, but slowly.
That's good to know, because at the moment I'm sticking to using the handbook rules, simply because having all the information in one place makes my life so much easier.
If all the official rules, together with FAQ, errata, updates, and perhaps NetERC changes? (I'll leave that up to the powers that be) were all consolidated into one PDF file, then it would be much easier to use both sets of rules, and decide which I like best, rather than having to sift through piles of disjointed PDFs on my computer, which is currently the case.
