| I'm just curious, but if you assault with a warmachine, can you use the barge move to 'push' formations into being intermingled, and thus assault extra things? Or am I being wildly optimistic... | |

| Nope. Intermingling is declared before any assault moves are made, based on the position of units at that time. | |

| I would have thought that this is wildly optimistic myself. As Zombocom pointed out, intermingling is declared before you actually move into assault, so I wouldn't have thought that your idea is feasible, since War Engines barge units out the way once you actually make your engage move. | |

| Also with barging in an assault you still have to adhere to the ZoC rule. Once a ZoC is entered during an engage action you have to move directly towards that unit so it would be difficult to barge through a formation without having to move to nearer units from the formation already involved in the engage. | |
