That's what I found in a very Old Citadel Journal:

Backgroud
"One of the most successful Squat War Machines is the Iron Eagles Gyrocopter. Unlike most Squats machines, the Iron Eagles is a fast and manoeuverable machine and thus is used to scout ahead of the main Squat convoys and provide vital information on enemy troop movements. On the battlefield its speed is put to good use, where it performs lighting raids on enemy artillery and HQ units.
There were some areas however where, it had difficulty, such as when dealing with large formations if infantry or powerful well armoured tanks. To deal with these shortcomings the Squat Engineers mounted new weapon fits, namely the short range rocket pods and multi meltas of the Steel Hawk and the laser guided armour piercing missiles of the War Hawk.
These new weapon configuration allow these new Gyrocopter variants to perform more specialised role, while the Iron Eagles perform multi purpose roles."

(Personal Note: can fire with the Squadron, adding more AT firepower to the salvo)

Might I humbly suggest some thoughts......

On the Warhawk drop the Indirect Fire from the Doom Anvil Missiles and increase the to 45cm. The Squats already have a plethora of IDF weapons, and this would be very redundant, also it would most definitly drive it's cost up over 75pts each.

On the Steel Hawk I would suggest the following stat line
Weapon/Range/Firepower
Multi-Melta/15cm/MW5+ or FFMW+1A
Battle Hammer Rockets/15cm/2xAP4+ AT4+ or FF+1A

Again cost would be the reason, and the above stat line is the one used for the Multi-Melta now and I would loath to change it.

I forgot the stats of Multi melta (the sames on the SM Land Speeders!). :down:
The same citadel-article introduced 1)Specialist Battle Cars for the Land Trains, 2)Doom Anvil Squadron (Two Cyclops and a Colossus!!!) and 3)Experience for squat WE's crew.

For (1) You have already done the Thunder battle car, but the article present the Skyhammer Battlecar with Ack-Ack missiles [Stats (SM/TL: 5 cm / Save T 2+ all around / Bolter - Ack Ack Missiles / 15 cm - 75 cm / 3 dice at 6+ save mod 0 - 2 dice at 4+ save mod ].Is this one needed or not?
the Iron Eagles Battecar (same use as the Colossus Iron Hawk). Also was there the Fire Shield Battlecar (add 3 more shield to the train and allow self repair more easly; in EA could be TWO shields up in the final phase of any turn).

For (2): to use only if the AMTL lists will presents in future the Titan Battle groups (or Gargant Big Mob) again! :p

For (3): to use in Campaigns (Hope to give the lists soon! not enough time for now :blush: ).

There are some things we are saving for 'future' Squat lists, so that they can be even more unique. For example Thurgrim's Stronghold had no Noble Bikers because we were saving them for a future list.

A Squat "AMTL" style list is in the furture........
(1) An AA Battle Car is being held for the above list right now, as is a spotter Battle Car, per your inquiry.
(2) We tried to make a Shield Battle Car work but had loads of trouble getting it to both work well, and play balance, so we dropped it entirely. (And we did really try hard)
(3) At present the prevailing thought is an SHT Battle Battery of three vehicles, please bear in mind the entire Squat "AMTL" style list is all on a single sheet of paper, and simply waiting it's turn. Khazak and Gharmull are the present works in progress here, with two more preliminary lists ahead of the AMTL style list.

Squat WE Experience: Odd we really hadn't given it much thought really, been too busy working on the lists themselves.

Want to give it a shot? If yes, I suggest using the IG as a base to work off of.
