I am thinking about using the Epic Armageddon rules to play 28mm size figures battles. Each model represents a single fighter but uses the stats for a squad in epic. I think the Epic rules are much better than 40K so I will give them a try. One of the sticking points is characters, though. Most of the leaders and heroes in epic have their influence on the game represented in abstract terms, such as increasing morale or getting an initiative reroll. Has anyone tried this or can any recommend any stat lines for typical leaders of Space Marines, Chaos, and Eldar? |

MoK has an overview and some examples of SM stats on the SG boards. You can email him for the full set of rules and army lists. I never tried it, but it sounds cool to me. They put a lot of work into it and they think it works pretty well mechanically. |

Nah, play it with stands, on a 3 by 6 meter (!) battlefield.  MoK, I sort of need your adress. And would love a copy to. |

How do you deal with the fact that tanks just die? Or that you need 10 of them in a unit? |
