Just wondering if there are points costs available anywhere for static defenses for scenarios (eg defense lasers, etc). Does anyone know where I should be looking?

The "Assault!" scenario, formerly hosted on the Specialist Games website, had values for static defenses such as bunkers, minefields, turrets, and a bunch of other stuff, and probably won't be available until CyberShadow gets the file problems worked out.

For my "EPIC: Total War" supplement, I'm working on an expanded list of static defenses as well, but it's in a very preliminary state.

Want any help with playtesting the values you've assigned these defenses thus far? I'm seeing synergies here...  :)

(Awesome battle report, by the way...man I wish I was playing right now rather than struggling at work.)  :glare:

Looks like, except for points costs, you've got the following covered:

Armoured Wall Sections, and
Armoured Towers
Armoured Gate sections

So you're currently missing rules and points costs for

Concealment Counters
Minefields
Bunkers
Gun Emplacements
Defense Line (not sure what this is), and
Barbed Wire

Is that right? Or are these rules and values elsewhere?

I'm currently thinking along the lines of this:

* Being the defender costs you one third of your total points allocation (eg in a 3,000pts game, being the defender costs you 1,000pts)
* Walls, gates, bunkers and barbed wire are free
* gun emplacements cost as per their costs for a Warlord titan to upgrade to them

What do you think?

These are detailed in the "Assault" scenario, which was initially published on the Specialists site, not sure of its current status/location.

In the "Assault" scenario, the attacker gets 1.5x the base point value of the defender, and the defender gets a 25% of base point value bonus to spend on defenses.

Defense Line/Entrenchments are the fortifications that the Baran Siegemasters get as part of their normal army list in Swordwind, along with bunkers and barbed wire.
