I am new to Epic Armageddon and have a question in reference to SM chapter organization. ?I am building a Dark Angel company. ?According to page 131 of the EA rulebook it states a tactical detachment is comprised of 6 tactical units which would equate to 3 squads in the company formation. ?However, if you go to page 75 it shows there are 6 tactical squads which would equal 12 units. ?I base this assumption on the fact there are 2 assault squads and two devastator squads which equate to the 4 units of each of these type of detachments in the army list on pg 131, and that an infantry unit is equal to one stand of 3 to 5 figures. So my question is: does it take 2 tactical detachments to represent the 6 tactical squads? |

Generally I go by number of guys rather then number of units. Battle Company is 60 tac marines, 20 dev marines and 20 assault marines. That's 2 Tacs, 1 Dev, 1 Assault as Hena said. Makes it somewhat less confusing when building an entire chapter. The Deathwing for instance would be 5 terminator dets, as that's 100 terminators! |
