Hi mates if LV are being fired at from a enemy unit with AP and AT values , ( like def copters firing at Space Marines skimers(LV)) can the Defkopters fire with both the AT AND AP values at the LVs? Or do they only fire at them with AP OR AT , which evers is better? thank you cheers Mike |

They only get to fire with AT or AP, not both. Pick the best and away you go! Regards, Reaver |

If it's an AP/AT weapon you simply choose the better value. All weapons on a unit may fire. If your unit has a weapon that is just AP and a weapon that is just AT, both weapons may fire. As an example, an Imperial Thunderbolt has an AT weapon, an AP weapon, and an AP/AT weapon. If firing at an LV formation it would fire 3 times. It would use the AP value for the AP/AT weapon because it has the better to-hit. |

My Opponent had LVs and said it was correct to fire at the LVs with AP AND AT weapons as they are infanty and viehiecals,,, seemed tooo much to me to fire at the same LVs with bothy weapon types in the same turn |

Think of weapons having two (or more) firing modes. For example, a Missile Launcher has Krak (for AT) and Frag (for AP), while a LasCannon could fire a focussed blast (AT) or dispersed burst (AP). But, only one mode can be used each shot. |

'cept Lascannons don't have an AP rating at all, so they can only target Vehicles. ![]() |
