OK guys, if you are intending to collect your copy(s) from another person to take advantage of bulk delivery, please make that very clear to Moscovian by PM and when you send the payment over. Could you also tell the 'coordinator' that will be getting the bulk delivery so we can keep track of where these copies are going.

So far, I think I have seen the following orders to be sent to me in London by June 27th in time for the tournament :-
- Hena (4)
- Rug (3)
- Ginger (1)
- Tiny-Tim (1)
- Mephiston (1)
- Alansa (1)
- Emperor's Shadow (possible?)
- TRC (2)
- E&C (2+?)

Is that correct guys, and are there any more for London??

I'd be wanting to pick up at least two copies.

Well E&C, work out how many you need and get the order in then. The sooner we get the numbers sorted out, the more likely it will be that they can be shipped out in time. :) ?

Moscovian, if possible / acceptable, it may even be worth setting some form of deadline to help determine which way they are to be shipped. With the numbers for London piling up, I would prefer not to have to post them onwards because the delivery arrived late. :)

I would love to set up a deadline but I don't have a date yet.  The calendar is like this...  Once the files are submitted and acknowledged, Mills Press sends out a proof within 5-7 days.  Once you give that proof the green light, it is another 7-10 days for the books to be printed and shipped.  I won't be able to establish a deadline until minimally I get the proof in my hands. unfortunately.

Some good news though... We hit nearly 25 copies pre-paid so there should be no issues getting the books ordered once the proof is acknowledged.  Please continue to send the pre-pays though since it offsets my costs (which I have to charge by credit card).

Also FedEx is always an option to ship from me to you.  You may be thinking that is too costly but not only would it give us more opportunity to get the books to the tournament but I get an employee discount which will help everyone enormously.

lost track, moscovian could you give me a quick run down on what the cost in total would be for a single copy sent to the Netherlands?

I know it gets a bit confusing with all the numbers I posted - I was trying for full disclosure not full confusion I assure you. :)

$25 for the book. Shipping is either $11.95 for a flate rate international envelope (no padding will fit in this) or about $15 for 1st Class (I can pad this somewhat).  You're choice.

That $15 number could be lower based on the weight of the book - I went with the full weight of the Armageddon book, assuming Raiders plus the envelope and padding will come in close to that.  I won't be able to give anyone an exact number until I get the proof though.

Hi Mosc

Could you check up the staff discounts for Fedex, allowing a little extra weight for packaging. At a rough count, I think we have at least 16 copies for London. Based on my earlier calculations, that is ~16 Lbs (or ~8 Kilos).

As a comparison, using the USPS calculator, it seems likely that we will need the "Priority Mail? International Large Flat-Rate Box", (max 20Lbs; 6-10 days delivery; $49.50). Currently this works out at ?~$3.50 per copy including P&P

Mosc, any chance you could bring some extra copies with you to Manchester?

Absolutely.  I'll be bringing them to both tournaments.
