Additionally, we all know that 'frightful' is the forum's censored version of $hit...

Do we? I sure as hell don't so please don't make assumptions about what "we" know.

In any case it was edited since that actually wasn't even what I was typing... the spell checker barfed.

He is still in XXXX for the "appeal to authority" nonsense.

Please insert another word other than $hit in the gap.

Given that an assualt is supposed to represent an entire game of 40k, it seems daft that the titan wouldn't have a chance to turn around. Fire arcs in an assault are a nonsense.

I wish I never brought this up.  We should all know that Jervis is omnipotent. :D

Is there any need for all of you to decide to take a shot at me today?

Sorry but was apologizing for my earlier incorrect comments and behaviour not good enough for you all? If not then please feel free to tell me.

If anyone else wants to pile into this and make some more comments then please feel free to do it via PMs where I can actually respond properly.

Please note that it was removed. Is that not good enough for you?

I wasn't taking a shot at anyone.  I was trying to bring in some light humour, sorry it came off wrong.

I asked a simple question on fire arcs, and we now have a three page "discussion" on
n such things as the meaning of the word Frightful and the divinty of Jervis.

Heck, I don't even know who is on what side anymore.

I am on the side of moral terpitude and decay.

Does noone pay attention to the meanings behind internet handles anymore???

EDIT:

For the record, I think that a war engine CC weapons being arc-dependant is clearly a nonsense, as my brother so eloquently put it.

I think that I was going through a 1940's hase when setting up the forum filter... It could be worse, I was in a Smurf phase recently, and we came very close to getting 'Mother Smurfer'!  :D

Is there any need for all of you to decide to take a shot at me today?

I am not sure that there was a direct shot at you there.

Can we all just take a deep breath here? To be honest, I am not even sure if there is a valid discussion under all of this any more, or what the particular point of debate focussed on anything Epic actually is.

Can we keep this onto the point of the thread. Otherwise, this thread is serving no purpose.
