I've got to say that's pretty cool. Never thought there were so many Dark Angel armies out there. For some reason I thought the Ultramarines would win. Btw, paining Howling Griffons in epic seems like a nightmare! Quartering yellow AND red in 6mm?! Yikes!

Black Templars for me. I chose it because I liked the color scheme. I'm not a fan of the list though. What is Epic without Titans?!  :p

I once painted 3000pts of Storm Lords for a mate...

Not fun.
So much red and white with badges etc. It came out ok but we never took any photos and then he sold them.

Both my marine armies are Heresy era. Ultramarines and Thousand sons ( very classic red Vs blue in games)

hey Nicodemus, those are some nice looking marines. Good job on painting them. Too bad the Howling Griffons get no respect these days, it's almost like that chapter doesn't exist for Games Workshop anymore. Way back "in the day" they seemed to be all over the place.

My SM army is a BA successor chapter - Emperor's Tears - so I don't know if you want to count that as BA or separate.

The one I'm building (painfully slowly) is the Storm Giants, who are White Scars successors from an official source.  So, again, not sure if they should count as WS or separate.

Which source Neal? I thought they were of the Salamander Gene-seed.

Storm Lords are a White Scars succesor.
