Nice.
Does this mean that other races will get similar items, to keep them competative? I wonder?

Hi!
Its good to see new units planned for something other than Imperials, the Tyranids need some updating as well with the addition of newer units.

It sure is good news, but yes, unfortunately we will have to wait some time yet before we can get our collective (figurative & literal) hands on them. ? ?
In regards to the Tyranids, Jervis did mention something about adding "new" units when he 1st released the E-A Tyranid army list, but for these we will undoubtedly have to wait much more patiently.
Oh well, things do seem to be looking up. I'm still pretty curious to see what the new Chaos units he is cooking up will look like...

Nid discussions are in pretty heavy rotation at the E-A Playtest Forum.
I would suspect that in the next month or so, Jerivs will review all of the suggestions/arguments and put out a new list. ?
Among other things, there is a big call for more variety for the 'Nids and Jervis has tentatively agreed to Mycetic spores (iirc).
Heck, just the reorganization of the Tyranid "armor" will probably mean new models.
I really hope Jervis goes for the idea of a Hive Tyrant/Guard on the basic sprue.

Hopefully, now with Jervis's announcement of large landing pod/vehicles (B.E.V.s ?) for the SM, IG & Orks, maybe all the other forces, (Eldar, Chaos, 'Nids, etc. ?) will get something similar? ?
Years from now ?!

Although they do need something similar, I don't like the way it would make them all samey.
Having other options rather than every race having access to an orbital lander would be better.
For example, I would have the Eldar be able to purchase a webway gate instead of a lander.
This would fit in better and be unique.
Tyranids ?I suppose it'd have to be spores.
Chaos? Similar to Marines I guess.

In this thread Jervis talks about the army release order and an idea of time frame.

Hi!
I think most will be content to have at least the basic units of every army to be available 6 months after release. New units are nice for those of us with established collections, but its not good if newbies can not get basic stuff within a reasonable time frame of release.

I'm concerned about how I can order them once they are released?
I get the feeling everything will be packed in unit strengths, Jervis even said that somewhere, I think? ?
So that's great for "newbies," but I'll be selling a lot of extras, here...

I daresay that individual items will still be available via Mail Order. ?
If not, we can co-ordinate purchases and split it between us. ?
Any extras left over donated to Kitty's Welfare Fund

I have the feeling all E-A will be sold as F/W is, in groups of 3 or more? ?
All extras that I can't sell (at cost), to my usual cohorts (names withheld to protect the innocent), will be offered here... ?
No Welfare Funds, proceeds may go to illegal purposes...

Hi!
It will be mostly likely sold in "packs" of three minis or full units, I dont envision them selling individual figs at the get go, but perhaps at some point later on they will be available individually.
