Well, I have LOADS of IG (from my POV, a few psycho's on this site have FAR too many figures! ) :;):

If my battlegroup ever gets published here you'll see.

Also on a side note, what do peeps think of the idea of painting all my squats as IG for the new system?, A few companies of squat infantry, for Epic-A, simply recruited directly into the guard.

Just a thought going through my (tiny) mind.

Jervis has, more or less, given his blessing to Squats playing as an IG army so it sounds fine. Don't expect to be seen in White Dwarf though!   }:)

Have fun and do it is my vote!

Shalom,

Maksim-Smelchak.

In SM1, Squats could ally with the SM or IG and even Eldar.  Rules for such alliances were published, no big deal.  We have fought them side by side. I say go for it...  As I said I collect all armies and (I may be one of the psychos you speak of, I've been called worse  ) we have played many games with coalition forces on the board, it's cool ... :D

Hi!

Yup, true. The original army lists had Squats under the IG lists as well as thier own.

I usually fought the Squats a lone, they have a lot of Fire Power but were a bit slow.  We did use the "Flank Marcher" rules from SM1, so Bikes, Trikes and Rhinos with infantry usually rolled into the flanks or behind  enemy lines.  Very SAS ...  :D

I think the correct description is "Mutual Obsession"

And we all feel comfortable with it because we share it!

Of course, there's  world where people think that post-Modernist thought actually makes some kind of sense too!

I'm not a big fan of Sartre or other French "philosophers." Give me the classics any day or even Machiavelli.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Only the insane have the strength to collect Epic. Only those who collect Epic may truly judge what is sane. ?:p
