Welcome to the forums and I hope that your recovery is swift and painless.

I'm afraid that Stafford is a bit too far for me to travel for a game, but work on your orks and come along to a tournament when you feel better (They are a bit more forgiving than Marines or Eldar). The championship pages on the epic-uk website will give you a good idea of the types of armies that you might face. And hopefully you will have a good time.

Have been interested in wargaming for years but dont care too much about winning ! I just like the challange of gaming so I am sure that I will have a good time whatever !!

At the moment the only person I can talke to about my hobby is my wife who just gives me that "silly boy playing with his solgers" look.

Oh and I do apoligise about my spelling but I am dislexic.....

Don't worry alot of people only get to game at tournaments and so use them more for social events. Playing a good game helps things move along. Also every player has been there with their first tournament.

I believe there's a chap on these boards by the name of skullric who lives in Crew. Not far from Stafford. You might want to hit him up.
