Haha.  And by way of contrast, here are models shrinking as time goes by.

Mix in WM ones and you get a third usable "scale".

Great comp pics ! So maybe we need to add a 3rd Category ... Greater Deamons, Not So Great Deamons & (Really)Lessor Deamons ... :vD  But what we plan on doing is 1 SM1 Lessor Deamon per base and 5 of the Epic40K/E:A Lessor Deamons per base ... Same stats ... 8v) For our for Avatars we use the old OOP SM1 Epic Eldar Infantry Cdr Figure with sword and pointing. Looks pretty good to us scale-wise.   I've used all the other Epic Avs as Statues/on Shrines. We feel they are too big ... :)

Excellent!

If someone's got the original 40K-scale Avatar I suppose that's the next one up.

Then the long-serving metal GW Avatar.

Then the Forge World ones.

Lovely Eldar terrain there Legion 4.

Anyway, I still have a soft spot for my old oversized metal Lesser Daemons, and they may well grace the table again if I ever find the time to get my LatD list up and running in accordance with the current rules.

I still think the original Eldar Avatar model is superb, hence why I haven't really felt the need to purchase the new one, who does seem a bit too large to me.
