Hmm possibly, but those sorts of things seem less common occurrences and what about the edge of a forest (they're unlikely to booby trap what could be miles of forest edge) and a floating Falcon grav tank say.

Ah forests. Death traps. Toss a few mortar rounds in their during a pickup from a recon section out spotting for the Epic see everything arty and its a death trap!

Plus also in any situation the transport might be fine, but now loaded down with injured from the hurried extraction in a warzone under sniper fire and pulled out of the battle line.

And so on.

For me it comes down to if you no save infantry want a boost be aware its not entirely risk free or will at least slow you down somewhat.
